Here you’ll find answers to the questions people ask most often, covering how I work, what to expect, and everything in between.
I keep things simple, transparent and human. If you don’t spot the answer you’re looking for, feel free to get in touch — I’m always happy to point you in the right direction. Just note that I can’t offer personalised advice through this page, but I can help you understand the basics so you can make informed decisions.
What do you actually do?
I help people perform better under pressure. My approach blends mental skills coaching, Hypnotherapy, NLP, EFT and Mindfulness. We work together to help you get out of your own way — so you can perform closer to your true capacity.

Is this therapy or coaching?
It’s both. It’s a hybrid performance-focused intervention. Many clients already have good mental health — they just want sharper clarity, more control of their state, and better execution. Others want help settling the noise that’s holding their performance back.

Do you work with sports or business?
Both. I specialise in high-performance environments: sport, business, leadership, sales, entrepreneurship, performing arts and other pressure environments.

How do sessions happen?
Sessions are delivered online, 1:1, on a secure video platform (Zoom or Google Meet).

Do you offer in-person visits?
Not currently.

How long is a session?
Approximately 60 minutes. First session will tend to be a bit longer. It varies from person to person

How many sessions will I need?
That depends on your goal. Some clients get what they need in 3–4 sessions. Others choose to stay longer to keep sharpening their mental game. We will set aims and success criteria in your first session.

Is this confidential?
Yes. All sessions are confidential within UK legal and ethical requirements.

Can I claim on private health insurance?
At this time, sessions are generally self-pay. If your insurer allows reimbursement for hypnotherapy/coaching, you can request a receipt to submit, but this is not guaranteed.

How do payments work?
Sessions are prepaid at the time of booking. Payment secures your slot.
​
What is your cancellation / refund policy?
There are no refunds and no partial refunds. If you need to reschedule, you must give a minimum notice period (insert the actual notice window you use) — otherwise the session is forfeited.

Can you diagnose mental health conditions?
No. I do not diagnose. If during our work we identify that a clinical diagnosis or medical support is appropriate, I may recommend you speak to your GP or an appropriate specialist.

Is this suitable if I’m on medication or in counselling already?
Often yes, but please let me know. If in doubt, we can check with your clinician first.
Do you work with children?
No. All clients must be 18 years of age or older at time of booking. On occasion I will work with young adults aged 16 to 18 but this is on a case-by-case basis. In this situation the legal guardian should contact me for a chat.
