​Let’s get this straight: what I offer is not just for elite athletes or senior leaders. Mental Performance Therapy is for anyone who wants to break free from destructive patterns of thinking — the internal narratives and habits that quietly undermine potential. The challenge is that it’s almost impossible to fully see your own patterns from the inside. One of the most common moments of relief for clients is when we finally define what the real challenge actually is. My role at the start is a form of non-judgemental accountability — to help you name the issue clearly. You may be surprised by what comes up.
My approach
I’m solution-focused, practical and direct. You will have to put in the work — because this is about genuine change, not gimmicks. I don’t offer magic phrases, “power moves”, or 30-second hacks that promise the world. It’s not quite Churchill’s “blood, toil, tears and sweat” but there is work to be done and the more you commit, the faster the shift.
Why work with me
I’m not your typical Performance Therapist — and I’m not trying to be.
I didn’t come through the traditional conveyor belt. My background is built on real-world pressure: sports coaching, military instruction, industry management, technical tutoring and mentoring coaches and trainers. I’ve worked in environments where performance actually matters, where excuses don’t survive long, and where results aren’t optional.
I looked into Performance Therapy for answers to what I had seen throughout my career — the patterns, the self-sabotage, the wasted potential, the way pressure breaks some people and sharpens others. What I learned didn’t replace my experience, it strengthened it. That’s the foundation of how I work today.
I don’t offer one-size-fits-all therapy or soft, surface-level conversations. I use my experience, instinct and practical understanding of human behaviour to get to the root of your challenges — whether that’s mental blocks, poor habits, pressure, confidence, decision-making or self-sabotage.
And I’ll be straight with you: I’m not for everyone.
If you want quick fixes, comfort-only sessions or generic motivational talk, I’m not your guy.
But if you want honest challenge, clarity, and a process backed by lived experience, I can help you move fast and move forward.
